About the championship

What students actually do

TYE is run locally by TiE chapters. Teams work through a curriculum of entrepreneurship theory and practice for about two to four hours a week, guided by a dedicated mentor, and build a business idea along the way.

The year ends with a competition, and finalists can go on to TYE Global, a pitch competition and conference. The 2026 editions were hosted in Kerala, India and Seattle, USA.
