Global Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (GYEC)

About Championship

A fast-paced online innovation marathon for high-school teams. On one day, teams (3–8 students, ages 14–18) worldwide tackle a surprise challenge in a 12-hour virtual contest. Each team must develop a sustainable business solution (often science/tech-based) for global issues like climate, health or education. Participants prepare a 2-page summary and a 3-minute video by the deadline. The 2025 contest had prelims on 12 April and a final on 17 May (watch for 2026 dates). Top teams (per country) win trophies and global recognition. Everyone receives a certificate and judges’ feedback. Learn more on the official GYEC page.
